Drunken one-take jamming from 2005 e.v. of a tentative Aarni song by Master Warjomaa (rhythm & lead guitars) and Vilpir (drums, bass & lead guitar) of Umbra Nihil. Obviously not mixed or mastered...fun fact: listen for the radio transmission every once in a while in the track. It came from the guitar amp, as apparently the instrument cable acted as an antenna and picked up a strong signal somewhere nearby...just like in 'This is Spinal Tap!'.

Aarni has of course always existed, but the current incarnation's story began in the autumn of 1998 e.v. when M.·.M.·. suddenly began solitarily developing his vague musical ideas further. He got telepathetic messages from the unicorn dolphin elder of Sirius B, who begged M.·.M.·. to reawaken the ancient Xothian aural technology tradition called 'aarni'.
